In 1969—just 50 years ago!—Yale admitted its first women undergraduates. Local author Anne Perkins (Andy to all of us in Harvard!) has been touring the country to talk about her new book, Yale Needs Women: How the First Group of Girls Rewrote the Rules of an Ivy League Giant.
Come join her as she shares new stories about these first women students, and how they made their way during the tumultuous early years of coeducation at Yale. Afterwards, pick up a signed book or two—the perfect holiday gift!
