As part of the shared exhibit A Multi-Sensory Experience: Capturing the Essence of the Local Environment, Christopher Johnson will be performing and demonstrating how he uses his modular synthesizer to build his sound compositions.
His modular synth provides infinite possibilities for new interesting sounds. He will demo how he comes up with his unique sound recordings. Then he will show how he distorts and plays with them to create bizarre and wonderful new soundscapes.
Don’t miss this chance to delve into the specifics of a unique method of producing digital musical soundscapes!! Participants of all ages are welcome and will be invited to create their own sounds to be used in Chris’ synth compositions.
