Birds! Exhibit Event: Guided Bird Walk with the Boxborough Birders at Oxbow National Wildlife Refuge

May 2 @ 8:00 am - 10:00 am EDT

Saturday, May 2
8:00-10:00 AM
Oxbow National Wildlife Refuge (NWR)

Join the Boxborough Birders Group for a guided bird walk through the Oxbow National Wildlife Refuge.

Oxbow NWR is located along the Nashua River and provides a diverse habitat of wetland,
upland forest, and old farm fields that support a wide variety of migratory and nesting birds.
We will be looking and listening for warblers, vireos, gnatcatchers, thrushes, and many more.
The main trail is fairly flat but can be wet, so hiking boots are recommended.

Meeting place & Parking: We will meet at the parking area at the end of Still River Depot Road, off Route 110 in Harvard.
Still River Depot Road leads you down a hill, over railroad tracks and right into the refuge
parking area.

Use this LINK for directions.

Leader: Liz Markiewicz

How to join: Please contact Liz Markiewicz (lizmarkiewicz78@gmail.com) to receive up-to-date communication for this event. You don’t need to be a member of Boxborough Birders to join, and the walk is free!

The Birds! curated art exhibit as well as the corresponding bird-related events and programs were planned in partnership with the Boxborough Birders Group
