Snapology Winter Vacation Program: Science of Superpowers & Mega Machines Robotics

 Morning Session: Science of Superpowers
Bring your favorite superheroes to life while discovering the science behind their incredible powers!
Students will explore the fascinating world of forces, energy, and physics through hands-on building and fun experiments. They’ll design superhero models, vehicles, and accessories inspired by heroes like Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman — all while learning about:

Flight forces, collisions, and air pressure

Gravity, friction, and energy transfer

Scientific experimentation and problem-solving

Children will compare the “super” world to real-life science as they test, experiment, and think critically. It’s a super-powered way to make learning physics fun!

 Afternoon Session: Mega Machines Robotics
In the afternoon, young engineers will take their skills to the next level with Mega Machines Robotics, a machinery-focused program where creativity meets coding. Students will work in teams to design and program spectacular robotic vehicles using LEGO® robotics kits and Scratch-based coding.

Through exciting challenges, they’ll learn how to:

Program and debug robotic models

Utilize sensors, gears, motors, and axles

Collaborate effectively with partners

Follow instructions and refine builds through iteration

By the end of the week, students will not only have built amazing machines but also gained confidence in coding, problem-solving, and teamwork — all while having a blast!

Snapology is the premier partner for STEAM programs worldwide. The organization’s goal is to provide children’s enrichment with STEAM learning programs that engage kids 4-14 years old with fun, hands-on activities to teach science, technology, engineering, art and math. While children are exploring robotics, coding and design challenges using LEGO® bricks, K’Nex, and technology, they’re building skills that will help them throughout school and their careers.
