DESCRIPTION:Painted Perches is a family-friendly\, hands-on program where participants design and paint their very own birdhouse together!\nEach birdhouse is locally built and designed for native bird species\, making it both a meaningful art project and a way to support local wildlife. Families will enjoy spending quality time exploring color\, creativity\, and personal expression while creating a functional home that can be proudly displayed outdoors. This engaging experience blends art\, nature\, and community into one memorable activity. \nOne birdhouse per family ($75). DESCRIPTION:“Celebrating Summer’s Abundance” is a one-time event that involves walking an illuminated labyrinth path accompanied by meditative music (in The Loft)\, followed by the opportunity to create a handheld labyrinth path meditation tool (in The Cove). \nParticipants will be encouraged to call to mind a form of abundance that brings them great joy in Summer as they walk the path. Sessions conclude with an optional informal sharing time for feedback or conversation about their work. All levels are welcome. \nYou may bring work in progress or start something new. Please bring your own references (photographic or real-life objects)\, drawing tools\, and supplies. DESCRIPTION:The Drawing Room – July:\nAn open drawing studio with artist guidance\nThe Drawing Room offers a welcoming space for focused drawing\, creative exploration\, and artistic community\, led by artist and teacher Mara Levin. These open studio sessions invite artists to work at their own pace\, with guidance available whenever it’s helpful. Drawing on decades of experience\, Mara offers demonstrations\, support\, and practical insights that help artists find their creative rhythm. Sessions conclude with an optional informal sharing time for feedback or conversation about their work. All levels are welcome. \nYou may bring work in progress or start something new. Please bring your own references (photographic or real-life objects)\, drawing tools\, and supplies. Feel free to bring a beverage in a no-spill travel mug. \nWhat Would You Like to Work On?\nHere are some ideas:\n* Subjects from nature\, real or imaginary\n* Comics\n* Portraits\n* Abstract art\n* Anything that sparks your creativity \nDrawing Mediums\nAll drawing mediums are welcome. (Please bring solvent-free materials suitable for a shared indoor studio space.) Examples include graphite pencil or stick (dry or water-soluble)\, colored pencil (dry or water-soluble)\, charcoal\, Conté crayon\, pastel pencil\, watercolor\, gouache\, and pen or brush with ink. \nSupplies\nYou may bring supplies you already have or purchase new ones.
