This year we are celebrating the 10th year of an amazing collaboration and recognizing how it’s founder and all 10 years of amazing student and floral art.  Come and celebrate with us!  \nFree and open to the public\, this event highlights artwork created by middle and high school students from The Bromfield School.  This year\, we are excited to also include students from the Hildreth Elementary School. Artwork is paired with Garden Club members\, who interpret the artwork in amazing\, beautiful\, creative and unique floral arrangements. \nThis is a true multi-generational\, community-wide event!   \nBloom N Art is on view at Fivesparks Saturday\, March 28th from 10am-4pm and Sunday March 29th from 12-4pm.   \nThere is a private reception for student artists and their families\, school teachers and administration and the Garden Club of Harvard floral arrangers on Friday March 27th. The show is open for additional viewing by The Bromfield School classes\, students\, teachers and administrators on Monday\, March 30th.

DESCRIPTION:Pastel painting with a focus on local landscape.  \nAnn will go over the basics of her process along with exploring composition\, values\, color and mark-making. DESCRIPTION:Warm up your winter with this child-friendly spin off of your typical “Paint & Sip.”\nCanvas & Cocoa offers a guided painting class\, paired with an iconic hot cocoa bar for your child to enjoy while creating their masterpiece. Socializing\, sipping hot cocoa\, and learning the basics of acrylic paint on canvas will keep your child looking forward to the next session. \nThere will be 5 Tuesday after-school sessions\, starting March 3 and ending March 31st. Each session will offer a different guided session\, progressively getting more challenging. \nThe 5-session package is $200 per student. All painting supplies and materials and the amazing cocoa bar are included.  \nCome dressed for potential mess- acrylic paint does not come out in the wash! If there are allergies\, or dietary/religious restrictions please notify Meghan Lowe (MLowe@psharvard.org)\, as substitutes can be made accordingly. \nThis workshop is appropriate for children in 2nd grade through 5th grade and will be held at Hildreth Elementary School directly after school. DESCRIPTION:Ensemble Eclectica weaves together early music and jazz in a lively and light-hearted conversation of genres and styles\, finding that these divergent musical traditions have much more in common than we might think. From Thelonious Monk on the theorbo (a large ancient lute) to gentle Jazz scatt improvisation on songs from the Renaissance\, this innovative quartet (Peter Lehman\, theorbo & seven- string guitar; Rick McGlaughlin\, stand up bass; Fabio Pirozzolo\, percussion; and Louise Grasmere\, vocals) takes listeners on journey that spans centuries\, sparks surprising musical connections\, and creates a sound that is at once old\, new\, surprising and fun. \n  \nThis program is funded in part by a grant from the Harvard Cultural Council\, a local agency which is supported by Mass Cultural Council\, a state agency. \n  \nSunday\, March 22\, 2026. 3:00pm-5:00pm\, $20 \nPurchase Tickets Here

DESCRIPTION:With the recent active shooter scare at UMass Lowell on 9/3/25\, the Evergreen High School shooting in Colorado on 9/10/25\, as well as number of other recent shooting incidents\, the local artist community is doing their part to make our community safer. While the UMass Lowell shooter on September 3\, 2026  turned out to be a hoax\, the fear that was created was very real. \nMarch for our Lives is a student-led organization founded by survivors of the Parkland\, Florida high school shootings in 2018. They lead demonstrations in support of gun control legislation and their mission is to end gun violence in our lifetime. They have championed gun violence prevention legislation at all levels of the government to save lives and create a better\, safer future. \nFollowing the horrific shootings in Buffalo and Uvalde\, March for our Lives led a protest in DC. Just a day after MFOL marched\, Senator Chris Murphy announced a bipartisan gun reform package with the support of 10 Republicans\, and just weeks later\, they successfully passed the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act\, the first federal gun safety law in nearly 30 years. \nA charity artwork silent auction and fundraising event run by local-artist\, Lisa Nelson will help raise money for March for our Lives. \nFor two weeks prior (3/7-3/21)\, display tables will be setup in the Fivesparks LOFT featuring artwork donated by a number of local professional artists along with silent auction sign-up sheets. Visitors can bid on these items throughout the 2-week period. DESCRIPTION:FEBRUARY VACATION TWO-DAY WORKSHOP \nFebruary 17th and 18th\nThis is geared towards kids 10+ but adults are welcome to sign up too! \nDo you love your pets and crafting? If so this minicamp is perfect for you! Combine your passion for your pets with art making. In this 2-day program you will get to experiment with a wide range of materials and techniques. You will learn the basics of needle felting\, build with clay and explore mixed media. all while making a variety of cute pets\, cats/dogs\, turtles\, fish\, small furry pets and more. And don’t forget their habitats; you will create homes\, food\, and toys.
