The pieces – many being shown to the public for the first time – span oceans and landscapes\, figures and fantasies\, an immigration and a generation.\n\n \nFor the Kisses\, art and architecture distinguish their ancestry. Creative expression was the first communication\, the native language. Artistry is the energy coursing through the family tree\, and their creations bond the branches.

It’s not dystopian\, science fiction\, or action adventure. It’s literary fiction with a touch of mystery\, a story of loss and regret\, rage and change\, love and persistence — and learning to believe in oneself. \nSegments of the book will be read\, allowing for audience discussion. \nBatchelder has served as an historian\, lecturer\, lay sermon writer\, teacher\, and more.
